8 Signs your Period is Due

It took me a long time to figure out my menstrual cycle and my drops in mood and energy (and personality 😆).


So here’s a quick list of signs to keep an eye on to gauge when your cycle may be due.

The best way to really know, though, is to track, monitor and record your symptoms.

Like a period journal...

Be a scientist of your own body and take back control.

 

  1. You are really tired despite getting enough sleep.
  2. Appetite is through the roof and cravings are high. You could eat a horse!
  3. You're irritable, short-tempered or moody.
  4. Strength in the gym has taken a hit this week. Struggling to hit last week's numbers.
  5. You are getting hip or lower back pain.
  6. Bloating pain or cramps in your stomach
  7. Negative body image, you feel "fat."


Remember these feelings are all normal, register those that are present and adapt your training and nutrition to work with your cycle.
